Unassailable order book of 80,000 Crore plus, multi-fold increase in market cap touching 25,000 Crore all time high, 18.54% CAGR growth in top-line for the last four years; all reflect the steadfastness, ingenuity and guidance of Dr. Mittal, which has allowed the NBCC team to shoulder bigger, larger than life projects.
NBCC is redeveloping the Nauroji Nagar into a well planned modern state-of-the-Art commercial Hub and is selling the commercial built up area on freehold basis. The project comprises of 12 multi storied commercial office towers reigning the commercial skyline of Delhi. Dr Anoop Kumar Mittal said that the WTC is one of the most prestigious projects for NBCC. Giving details of the project and the modern technologies being implemented he added “It will change the skyline of New Delhi. We will complete the project within two to three years and minimise impact on the environment as the construction progresses.” To be built at a cost of Rs 32,000 crore, all the three colonies namely Nauroji Nagar, Netaji Nagar and Sarojini Nagar assigned to NBCC for redevelopment, shall be completed by 2022. The integrated business hub at Nauroji Nagar will have independent offices with direct connectivity from airport, railway and metro stations, retail outlets, food court, conference facilities, business centres, art galleries and three-layered basement parking for 8,014 cars. The Netaji Nagar redevelopment of 110 acres will be for General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) and General Pool Office Accommodation (GPOA) for central government. Equipped with Smart City sustainable features, the high rise project will have seamlessly integrated green landscape with two-level basement parking for 3,500 cars. There will be shopping centres, efficient management of energy and water resources along with central air conditioning and IT-enabled office environment. Sarojini Nagar colony shall also be redeveloped vertically as GPRA and shall have commercial space for sale. NBCC is the only public sector enterprise in realty space which redevelops properties for the government.

GLOBAL FOOTPRINT OF NBCC
State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has bagged an order worth 20 billion rupees to build high-capacity convention centres in nine different African countries namely Niger, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Liberia, Gambia, Burkina Faso, Togo, Gabon and is an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. As per the order, NBCC will build nine Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centres (MGCC) in African nations in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment to raise the level of support for the vision of a prosperous, integrated and United Africa.
NBCC already has offices in Oman, Maldives, Turkey, Mauritius and Botswana. It has executed many diverse projects over the past 37 years in Mauritius, Nepal, Maldives, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Turkey and Botswana.
While executing these projects, NBCC plans to scout for further business in these countries. At the same time, building convention centres in overseas locations will enable Indian engineers and other employees posted there to get acquainted with modern construction technologies.
Recently, NBCC secured projects at Mauritius which comprise construction of the new Supreme Court building valuing Rs 250 crore and 956 social housing units worth Rs 300 crore. Some other notable projects successfully completed earlier include a 200-bed Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Maldives, a 3,600 units Meer Housing Project in Turkey and Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture in Mauritius.
DIVERSIFIES INTO HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION
NBCC’s execution of border fencing along Indo-Bangladesh and Indo-Pak border has majorly contributed in securing India’s international boundaries. NBCC has also been involved in development of roads in remote and terror-infested areas under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura and Odisha. This has helped in promoting trade and benefitted the regional economy.

The Kotdwar-Ramnagar Kandi road, passing through the Jim Corbett National Park, Garhwal and Kumaon Mandals, will be interconnected and the distance of Kotdwar, Kalagarh and Ramnagar from Dehradun will be greatly reduced. Project Management Consultancy (PMC) segment is our core business segment contributing to almost 85%-90% of the company’s revenue. 65 STOREY ‘TWIN-TOWER TRADE CENTRE’ IN GUWAHATI
NBCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Assam on 2nd February 2018 for the construction of a Twin-Tower Trade Centre in Guwahati valued at approx. Rs 1950 Crores.
The iconic Twin-Towers are being built on a land of approx. 10.6 acres area, which has been provided by the State Government, and the project shall be executed on a self-revenue generating model by NBCC. It will be equipped with modern amenities integrated with state-of-the-art IT enabled services, and will house convention centre, hotel, shopping complex, service apartments, residential zones, museum, cinema halls basement parking with a capacity of 4000 cars, multi layered security system. etc. The eye-catching design of the towers has been inspired from the symbols of Assam such as ‘one-horn Rhino’ and ‘Dhol’. The project, touted to be the new Trade and Business Gateway for South-East Asian nations, will immensely boost economic interlinkages by facilitating global trade and investment; thereby empowering the State of Assam and the North-East on a whole.
Sarbananda Sonowal, CM, Assam spoke about creating an ecosystem through which the State would prosper and the Twin Tower Trade Centre with in-house arrangement will give a new boost to business in the State. Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of HUA stated, this building is not just an impressive structure but it embodies the spirit of progress, the aspirations of the youth and a world class design. The Twin Towers Trade Centre is going to be not only a symbol of the greatness of Assam, but also a visible manifestation of PM’s Act East Policy.”
